2018
Viserion Commodities was founded in 2018 as an asset-management business.
2021
Viserion Commodities was reorganized in 2021 as Viserion International with the purpose of targeting physical agribusiness asset acquisitions.
In July of 2021, Viserion acquired 10 grain elevators on the Mississippi River system under the name Viserion Grain.
2022
In July of 2022, Viserion acquired Western Milling.
2023
In October 2023, Viserion acquired Elian Barcelona.
2024
In April of 2024, Viserion acquired a soybean crush plant in Barcelona, Spain.
In July of 2024, Viserion acquired Greenfield Grain.
2025
In March of 2025, 5V, a newly formed partnership between Five Rivers Cattle Feeding and Viserion Grain, announced plans to construct a shuttle train receiver in Texas.
In October of 2025, Elian announced the construction of a soy protein concentrates facility collocated in the Port of Barcelona.
